Who We Are
A-WIN Insurance’s first location opened its doors in Calgary, Alberta in 2001 and today we have branches located across Western Canada. In 2019, A-WIN Insurance was acquired by Rogers Insurance Ltd, one of the largest independent insurance brokerages in Canada and a winner of Alberta’s Top Employer award every year since 2007.
We work with many different insurance companies to ensure our clients are getting the best possible coverage for the most competitive price. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and insurance expertise.
The Edmonton Commercial branch is led by Murray Dadswell and joined the A-WIN Insurance network in March 2021.
Murray is a second-generation insurance broker with 33 years of experience in the industry. For the past 22 years, Murray’s attention has been on commercial property and liability insurance, focusing on:
- Condominium Corporations
- Professional Errors and Omissions Liability Insurance
- Directors & Officers Liability Insurance
Murray is a professional member of the Canadian Condominium Institute – North Alberta Chapter. He has served on their executive board as Vice President and President as well as instructed their insurance courses to their members.
Murray decided early in his insurance career that to focus on specific areas of insurance, allowed his clients to receive a level of service that came from the knowledge and experience of specializing in those specific areas.
We value integrity because we want to help our customers. Providing honest and accurate information and guidance is key to forming positive, long-lasting customer relationships. We want to help our customers protect their assets and manage their risks.
Knowledge helps make informed decisions. This means that our customers will get coverage that is best suited for their unique situation and are comfortable approaching our brokers for answers to their questions. That’s why we are continually developing our educational programs, updating our skills, sharing our expertise
As insurance brokers, we need to listen to our clients and understand their situation. This helps us find the coverage that best fits our customer’s needs and budget. We also value empathy because many times we need to be there for our clients during tough times when a claim needs to be submitted.
