Who We Are

A-WIN Insurance was founded in Calgary in 2001 and has grown to include branches across Western Canada. A-WIN provides exceptional insurance advice and customer experiences. We work with over 20 different insurance companies to give you the best coverage at competitive prices.

The Medicine Hat Branch joined A-WIN Insurance in 2012 with Jackie Doell, CAIB as the Branch Partner.

In February 2019, A-WIN Insurance joined the Rogers Group of Companies. Now one of the largest independent brokerages in Canada, Rogers Insurance was founded in Calgary by Peter Rogers in 1977. They offer the industry’s highest level of expertise, claims experience, and customer service. Rogers has also been named one of Alberta’s Top Employers every year since 2007.

In 2021, Jackie stepped away from her management role and the branch was purchased by Schwartz Reliance Insurance and remains part of the A-WIN Insurance branch network. Our Medicine Hat remains a strong, local independent insurance brokerage focused on the needs of its clients.
